On August 28, 2022, the ceremony “Let’s recover our country, let the clamor of the past affirm our present commitment” was held in commemoration of the 19th anniversary of the delivery of the final report of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission. The event was organized jointly by the National Coordinator for Human Rights and the Working Group on Reparation and Memory.
The ceremony took place at the El Ojo que Llora memorial located on the 1st block of Salaverry Avenue in the district of Jesus Maria at 11:00 am. The event was streamed live on the Facebook pages of the National Coordinator for Human Rights and several of its member organizations.
