The Society for Kantian Studies in Spanish (SEKLE) invites participation in the International Congress to be held in Santiago de Compostela from July 15 to 19, 2024. The VI International Congress of SEKLE celebrates not only the biennial meeting of this Society for Kantian Studies, but also the tricentennial of the birth of Immanuel Kant (1724-1804). The motto “Paths of Thinking” metaphorically evokes both the Camino de Santiago and the beautiful host city, as well as the multiple paths opened up by Kantian thinking three centuries after his birth. We consider the evolutionary history of his thinking, which, from our point of view, does not follow one, but several paths, which also applies to its effective history. Etymologically, the word “path” or “paths” suggests the problem of Kant’s method or methods of thinking, and even in our thinker there is “a path that has never yet been trodden” (KrV, A 98), namely, the transcendental deduction of categories. There are many paths, both national and international, that can bring Kantian researchers to Santiago de Compostela, on the occasion of the tricentennial of his birth. In addition to the mentioned topics, contributions on any other aspect of Kant’s thinking are welcome. The languages of the congress are: Spanish, German, Portuguese, English, Italian, French, and Galician. The modality will be hybrid.
