Job posting for Full-Time Tenure Track Teaching Position – Philosophy Section

It is announced to the University Community that the Academic Department of Humanities at the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru is calling for a competition for:

One (1) Full-Time Tenure Track position for the Academic Department of Humanities.

REQUIREMENTS TO APPLY FOR THE ANNOUNCED POSITION

• Hold a doctoral degree in Philosophy.
• Have obtained the doctoral degree being applied for within the last five years prior to the closing of the call (i.e., after July 31, 2018).
• Have conducted research in the field of modern Philosophy.
• Have published at least two (2) articles in journals indexed in Scopus, Web of Science, or equivalent databases (1 article indexed in Scopus or Web of Science is equivalent to 2 chapters in refereed books or 2 articles with other indexations) in the past 5 years.
• Have participated in internationally renowned academic events in the past five (5) years prior to the publication date.
• Demonstrate experience and favorable evaluations in university teaching.
• Have supervised university theses in their area of expertise.
• Possess proficiency in digital platforms.
• Present the work plan to be developed during the appointment period.
• Preferably, be 40 years old or younger. This is not a requirement.
