A university cooperation agreement signed between the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru and the University of Paris XII, Val de Marne, in February 2003. This agreement provides for the creation of an Andean Chair of Contemporary French Philosophy, which will function through master courses or seminars taught by professors from the French university or associated professors from other French universities.
